How to play Fake an Egg

Checked against the 2026-10-26 build. October 19 guides show a $30 starter egg. I am describing the later version and labeling the older one.

I followed VendoPlus and then checked Roonby and the AllThingsHow quick guide from the same week. The path is short. The arguments start when you hit rebirth numbers, which I am not hard-coding here.

First session

• You get an egg from the tutorial (AllThingsHow quick guide and Roonby, 2026-10-26). The October 19 guide instead said you spawn with $30 and buy a Bunny Egg.
• Stand by an egg and press E to buy if you are paying. Carry it to the pen with your name.
• Place it on an empty nest and wait. Night speeds the timer up. I am not printing a multiplier, because guides disagree.
• Place the hatched pet in the pen so it starts paying per second.
• Open pets and use Equip Best. One screenshot shows 4 of 7 slots active.

Then these systems

• Disguise: green pipe in your pen, Select Disguise, pick an egg, Use. You land in the egg pile. A timer ends the disguise. Details are on how to steal.
• Steal: once someone buys you, hatch in their base, press E on a pet, and run home.
• Shark: like the game and join the Slime Time Studios group to open the caged Shark (two October 26 guides).
• Index: claim each new discovery by hand. Bunny's published reward is $10.0K and a Gold Bar (single AllThingsHow observation). See index rewards.
• Feeder and pen upgrades add food and one slot at a time. Food formulas conflict; compare the money guide.
• Sell extras at the sell shop. Roonby reports that Fuse spends three pets for one and can roll a mutation (single source).

Your first rebirth should be read off the panel. The two published costs are on rebirth. Compare egg prices and observed pet incomes. Codes, if you were sent here for a string, are still at zero verified on codes. The VendoPlus tutorial at 0:04 supports the older purchased-egg version; the October 26 articles report the later gift.
