How to make money in Fake an Egg

I looked for a per-hour table and did not find one I could defend. What I can defend is the list of income taps that more than one guide describes, plus the traps where the math conflicts.

Where cash comes from

Suggested order based on the reported mechanics: first equip your highest displayed-income pets, then claim pending index rewards, then check whether an empty pen slot or a slow hatch is your bottleneck. A pen upgrade helps only if you have a pet ready to equip. Food is worth comparing only after its current price and displayed boost are known. This is planning advice, not a measured fastest route or a promised income rate.

• Equipped pets pay every second. Equip Best fills the slots with the highest displayed incomes.
• A disguise pays once when someone buys that egg. Printed examples: Bunny $30, Giraffe $5.0K.
• A stolen pet pays after you place it at home. The steal steps are on how to steal.
• Index rewards are manual: press Claim to collect. No source establishes an expiry for unclaimed entries.
• Offline income is an estimate on the pets screen. One example read $239.8K/day.

Levers, and what I will not calculate

Pen upgrades add one slot and cost more each time. Weather traits and mutations raise the number on screen, but I will not multiply them again on top of a total the UI already shows. Feeder food is a conflict: one article says a full feeder is +50% and a carrot is $2.0K or 6 Robux, another says each carrot is +0.1 and carrots are free. Use the multiplier printed in your own UI.

Do not sit on a huge egg just because the pet's ceiling is high. A long hatch earns nothing while it runs. Observed ceilings are on best pets. Type your own cash and income into the calculator.
