How we check facts
Last checked 2026-10-28
I would rather ship a blank cell than a smooth number. Every data page ends with a last-checked date and the sources that page actually used.
Three labels
- Verified: at least two independent sources agree. Multiple articles from one publisher count as one source. A video and a page derived from that video also count as one source.
- Single source: only one independent publisher, video, or official API supplies the claim. The page names the source, even when it is official.
- Unknown: no source. The cell stays empty. We do not estimate.
Conflicts
If two prices or two rebirth ladders disagree, both stay, with dates. We do not average them. Steal an Egg multipliers never get copied onto Fake an Egg pages. We do not host scripts or link to them.
Corrections and drafting
Email [email protected] with the page URL and the better source. We aim to reply within seven days and to change the page if the source checks out. Drafts are edited by the desk. A model may help organize notes. A model does not invent a stat, and a stat does not go up without a link we can open.
